Maintenance Tech
Job Description
We are seeking a part-time maintenance technician for our apartment community. The pay rate for this position is based on experience. Must have a great attitude, be willing to learn, and willing to train in areas that you are not proficient in. We are an equal opportunity employer.
Highly Recommended but not required for the right candidate(s):
· High school diploma or equivalent
· EPA certification for HVAC service calls
· Minimum of 3 years in the apartment maintenance field
· Strong troubleshooting skills
· Strong communication and customer service skills
· Ability to read and write English
· Ability to display balance/equilibrium at heights above 5 feet and lift 50 pounds essential
· Must be able to walk the property, including stairs, on a regular and as-needed basis to perform duties and perform a variety of physical tasks
· Possess reliable transportation and valid driver's license
· Working knowledge of general property operations, HVAC, safety, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair essential
· Must be available for On-call Emergency Maintenance
· Any additional duties as assigned
· Must have your own tools
· Must possess a teamwork attitude
