Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. As an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations. You will develop and implement training programs, conduct inspections, investigate incidents, and provide recommendations for improvement. This is a critical role in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Duties:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive environmental health and safety (EHS) programs
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulations
- Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes and develop corrective actions
- Develop and deliver training programs on EHS topics to employees at all levels
- Monitor and evaluate workplace conditions to ensure compliance with occupational health standards
- Collaborate with management to develop policies and procedures that promote a safe work environment
- Stay up-to-date with changes in EHS regulations and industry best practices
- Prepare reports on EHS performance, including incident statistics, compliance status, and recommendations for improvement

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
- Proven experience as an Environmental Health and Safety Specialist or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of EHS regulations and standards
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in report writing and documentation
- Familiarity with workers' compensation laws and processes
- Ability to create training materials as needed
