Position Summary:
The Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) is responsible for promoting and restoring patients' health by completing the RT services; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members. The RT will perform duties in accordance with Physician Orders, as well as State, Federal, and Hospital policies and procedures. The incumbent must be willing to work any open shifts and remain flexible in regards to work schedule.

The RT must have the ability to move around freely, walk and stand for long periods of time; use stomach and lower back muscles to support the body for long periods without getting tired; use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls; bend or twist their body; understand the speech of another person and speak clearly so listeners can understand; and see details of objects that are less than a few feet away and at a distance. The RT should be able to occasionally lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
