Title: Business Systems Analyst
Location: Memphis, TN hybrid 3x per week
Duration: Ongoing Contract
Rate: $34-37/hour
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.
Key Points: Detail Oriented, Drafting business requirements (written and passed along), very comfortable with Jira.
Tech Must Haves ------
- 1-3 years of experience as Business Analyst
- Excellent Communications Skills
- Database Understanding
- Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Outlook, Exel)
- SQL (building this) MySQL, etc
- Jira
- Writing Business Requirements
- Hospitality/Property Management experience would be a plus
- Detail Oriented
- Writing User Stories is a huge plus
Job Description:
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Documents requirements, defines scope and objectives, and formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies.
May require an associate's degree in a related area and 1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision.
Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.
Typically reports to a manager.
Have some technical understanding of database and technical troubleshooting.
