ARS is seeking a Pricing Analyst to leverage data to inform and influence decision makers within our Pricing and Operations teams. This role will be responsible for building data tools to make better informed pricing decisions and measuring the impact of price changes both nationally and locally. In addition, this role will be responsible for communicating with branches and explaining complex data in an easy-to-understand way.
Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and maintain pricing models for HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical branches
- Design and implement pricing tests
- Measure the impact of pricing decisions and pricing tests
- Identify and communicate opportunities to improve profitability to stakeholders at every level of the organization
- Assist in developing data-driven pricing strategies
- Work with the Business Intelligence team to design and implement new Power BI reports
- Assist with ad-hoc requests as necessary to support cross-functional partners
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in a Pricing, Analytics, Finance, or FP&A role or equivalent
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel required; emphasis on Power Automate, Power Query, and writing advanced formulas
- Experience writing SQL queries
- Familiarity with Finance concepts and ability to read P&L Statements
- Preferred familiarity with Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning concepts
- Flexibility coupled with the ability to learn quickly and ask great questions
- Experience presenting to and influencing at all levels of the organization, including C-suite
