LaSalle Network is Hiring a Senior Accountant Near Memphis, TN
LaSalle Network has partnered with a leading global environmental consulting and engineering firm located in Memphis, TN. Our client has a great direct hire opportunity for a Senior Accountant. This is a hybrid-position.
Senior Accountant Responsibilities:
- Reconcile bank accounts on a monthly basis
- Month-end reporting
- Perform appropriate general ledger journal entries
- Prepare general ledger account reconciliations
- Utilize SAGE fixed asset software to track and record all fixed asset purchases
- Responsible for financial statement preparation, pre and post month-end closing.
- Provide information for state tax and property tax reporting
- Working closely with accounting team and upper management
Senior Accountant Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting is required
- 2 years of experience in accounting is required. 1 year in public accounting preferred
- Previous experience in a consulting or professional services environment is a preferred
- Strong attention to detail
