M. Diaz Law PC is Hiring a Family Law Paralegal Near Melrose, MA

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Family Law Paralegal to join our legal team. As a Family Law Paralegal, you will provide essential support to our attorneys in handling family law cases. Your responsibilities will include assisting with document management, conducting legal research, and providing administrative support. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Massachusetts family law procedures and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.

Duties:
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and affidavits, financial statements
- Conduct legal research using various resources, including Lexis-Nexis
- Organize and maintain client files and documents
- Review and summarize legal documents for attorney review
- Prepare correspondence and communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Schedule appointments, hearings, and meetings
- prepare drafts of legal documents
- Assist in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness files
- Perform general clerical duties, such as data entry, filing, and answering phones

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a paralegal in family law
- Proficient in using document management systems
- Strong knowledge of legal procedures related to family law
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in conducting legal research using online resources such as Lexis-Nexis
- Familiarity with legal case management software is a plus
- Professional phone etiquette
