Great opportunity for an experienced Memory Care Director.
Prefer 2 yrs. experience in a similar role in an Assisted Living Community!
We are seeking a dedicated Memory Care Director to lead our team! We believe in creating a vibrant and nurturing home for our residents with cognitive impairment and you'll be at the heart of implementing engaging programs and responsible for the day-to-day operations of our memory care community. 
What you'll be doing:
  • Supervise Memory Care staff, providing training, setting work hours, and offering performance feedback.
  • Coordinate the implementation of the Memory Care program mission, goals, and philosophy.
  • Maintain stimulating activity programs that challenge residents mentally, physically, and spiritually and that match individual preferences and capabilities. 
  • Create environments that encourage memories, promote feelings of well-being, and stimulate the senses.
  • Interview residents and families prior to admission and coordinate pre-admission screening and assessment with the Director of Wellness.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, continence care, mobility, and other functions as designated in the residents' service plan.
What you'll bring to the table:
  • A high school diploma or general education degree
  • Previous experience in caring for seniors with Alzheimer’s in an assisted living or skilled nursing environment.
  • Completion of a training program for certification in states mandating such.
  • 2-3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Certification.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Reliable transportation with automobile insurance and a valid driver’s license.
