As an Social Service Assistant at Atlantic Shores, you will support the Social Service Manager efforts with the discharge process, for residents and patients in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting. You will help welcome new residents. You will support the patient’s needs throughout their stay, ensuring their treatment goals are achieved and discharge process successfully completes. You will enjoy a Monday thru Friday work schedule, 4 hours a day. We offer a great culture with a sincere appreciation for everyone! You will be a part of a caring approach in everything we do.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Post-secondary education OR experience in a related field a plus Discharge Planning, and/or Patient Education)
- Must be familiar with Medical Terminology
- Must be proficient in the use of personal computer (Windows, Internet, and Applications/Programs navigation)
