This position is for a husband and wife. Light housekeeping, meal prep, laundry etc. No transportation is necessary but own vehicle is a must. We are hiring for 2 shifts. Weekdays 8am-3pm and weekends ( hours are similar but can very). The clients are taken care of separately.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with the care plan established by the registered nurse or therapist
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality
Skills:
- Experience in patient care, preferably in a home care setting
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and adherence to privacy guidelines
- Ability to cook and prepare meals according to dietary restrictions
- Familiarity with hospice care principles and practices
- Proficiency in medication administration and understanding of dosage calculations
- Experience with tube feeding and knowledge of proper techniques
- Understanding of senior care needs and ability to provide compassionate support
- Collaboration skills to work effectively with nurses and other healthcare professionals
