The ideal candidate will have a strong background in special education, a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment, and the ability to create individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse needs.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure the success of each student.
- Use a variety of instructional strategies and resources to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
- Provide a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior and social-emotional development.
- Attend and actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and other relevant meetings.
- Weekly compensation
- Monday-Friday, day hours (weekend opportunities available)
- School schedule: all major holidays and summer off
- 24/7 accessibility to the awesome ACS Staff
- Ability to "Motivate and Encourage”
- Choose a setting that suits you (school, home, community)
- Valid Pennsylvania Special Education teaching certification.
- Background Checks, up-to-date FBI and state clearances. (or willing to obtain)
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Experience working with students with diverse needs and abilities.
