The individual in this position performs a variety of duties, either involving the care and custody of prisoners confined to the Taylor County Jail or the operation of the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office Communication Center, including the 911 system. The position is non-sworn and without powers of arrest.
Applicant must be a high school graduate or GED equivalent. Consideration will be given for prior law enforcement experience. Applicants will be subject to a medical examination, drug screening and background investigation.
