Overview:

We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Camp Counselors. As a Camp Counselor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children while creating a fun and engaging camp experience. This is a paid position.

Responsibilities:

- Supervise and ensure the safety of campers at all times

- Implement, organize, and lead age-appropriate activities and games

- Provide guidance and support to campers in their personal growth and development

- Assist with educational activities, including musical tutoring and providing educational resources

- Implement behavior management strategies to maintain a positive and inclusive camp environment

- Foster a sense of community among campers through team-building exercises

- Collaborate with other staff members to implement a well-rounded camp program

- Maintain accurate records of camper attendance, incidents, and progress

Experience:

- Previous experience working with children in a childcare, daycare, or educational setting

- Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond to emergencies

- Familiarity with early childhood education principles and childhood development stages

- Strong classroom management skills to ensure a structured and organized camp environment

Requirements:

- Must be at least 18 years old

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well in a team environment

- Passion for working with children and helping them learn and grow
