Job Description:
As a Lead Clinical Research Coordinator you will play a crucial role in the planning, execution, and management of clinical research studies. You will work directly with the PI ensuring the successful implementation of research protocols while maintaining the highest standards of ethical and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of Clinical Research Coordinators, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
- Study Management: Coordinate and manage the execution of clinical research studies, including patient recruitment, data collection, and study documentation.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory requirements, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and local and international guidelines.
- Participant Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with study participants, providing them with clear information and support throughout the research process.
- Data Management: Oversee the collection, recording, and reporting of study data, and collaborate with data management teams to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Communication: Facilitate effective communication between the research team, investigators, sponsors, and external stakeholders.
- Budget Management: Assist in managing research budgets, monitoring expenses, and ensuring cost-effective operations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical research coordination.
- Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in electronic data capture (EDC) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of GCP, regulatory compliance, and ethical principles in clinical research.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional problem-solving skills.
