Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy practices.

Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level
- Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service to patients
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and pharmacy policies
- Utilize aseptic techniques when compounding medications
- Handle IV infusion medications safely and accurately

Skills:
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in medical terminology
- Knowledge of aseptic technique for medication preparation
- Experience in patient care within a hospital or pharmacy setting
- Familiarity with IV infusion procedures
- Competency in medication administration techniques
- Ability to assist patients with inhaler devices
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred
- Strong focus on patient service and satisfaction

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
