Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sergeant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple correctional team members and activities, ensuring public and facility/staff safety. Candidates should possess a professional background consisting of Corrections, Law Enforcement, and/or Military Experience, with strong management and supervisory skills as a highlight.

Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of Correctional personnel
- Enforce facility policies and regulations
- Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed
- Oversee deputy schedule and quality of deputy job performance
- Assist in facility-related investigations, accidents, or incidents
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents and activities
- Provide leadership and guidance to subordinate officers and teammates

Qualifications:
- Prior experience in Corrections, Law Enforcement or Military is required
- Certification in First Aid and CPR
- Proficiency in report writing and documentation
- Strong conflict management skills
- Familiarity with PREA

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
