STARTING PAYRATE: $45-$56K annually (negotiable depending on experience)
PRIMARY WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 7am- 3:30pm (weekends only as needed)
JOB SUMMARY: Supervises, coordinates activities, and drives continuous improvement of workers engaged in packaging products and materials for storage or shipment.
Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Manages and facilitates production processes and reports daily KPIs.
- Observes packaging operations and inspects products to verify conformance to specification and compliance with food safety and quality requirements.
- Studies production order and specifications to ascertain type and quantity of product, containers to be used, and other packaging requirements.
- Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of schedule.
- Interprets company policies to workers and enforces compliance and provides feedback to senior management on company policy improvements.
- Analyzes and identifies root cause of work problems and coach workers in solving work problems.
