AYS Tents & Events is Hiring a Remote Sales / Admin Assistant (remote Nov - Mar)

Who we are:

AYS Tents & Events lays the foundation for the high end gatherings in the Hamptons and Suffolk County. We have a large inventory of event rentals, with beautiful tents and accessories, as well as furniture, bars, tables, chairs, linens, and catering supplies. From Westhampton to Montauk, Riverhead to Orient, our rental products sit at the cross section of every type of event.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for permitting events timely.
  • Maintain an organized schedule for deliveries & pickups
  • Monitor scheduled deliveries to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed based on what is best for customers
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with customers and business partners
  • Write quotes for jobs, coordinate with customers across the life of each project
  • Responding and following up to emails & calls in a positive and helpful manner
  • Familiarity with Goodshuffle or other rental management software
  • Responsible for documenting deliverables for each event
  • Product knowledge on tents and event rentals

Qualifications

  • Experience in managing multiple priorities, administrative coordination, and logistics
  • Knowledge of the North Fork and the Hamptons event spaces
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task with great follow-up skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; must possess customer relation skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Min 1 year experience as an event professional
  • Must be able to maintain a high degree of patience and offer constructive criticism when necessary

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Benefits:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
