Job Purpose
The PVA Production Associate 1 is responsible for assembling and packing PVA bags according to established procedures and quality standards. This position is designed to promote the quality and production standards set by Paceline, providing consistent attention to detail and promoting a safe work environment.
What is PVA?
Seal™ PVA Bags are made from the highest quality PolyVinyl Alcohol material, for improved durability and superior performance during the cure process.
Hours: 1st Shift- 6AM-2:30PM
Duties and Responsibilities
o Perform assembly and packing operations according to established procedures and quality standards
o Ensure that PVA bags are sealed properly and free of defects (CEs)
o Label and package finished products for shipment
o Operate equipment used in the assembly and packing process
o Create (make) small size bags on PVA machine 1
o Maintain average production rates based on the following guidelines:
§ Complete CEs at a rate of 100-115 bags/hr
§ Make small size PVA bags at a rate of 60-80 bags/hr
o Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on equipment
o Maintain accurate production records
o Follow safety procedures and guidelines
o Keep work area clean and organized
o Other duties as assigned by supervisor
