Alliance Health System is Hiring a Medical Records Specialist Near Matawan, NJ
We are seeking a Medical Records Specialist to manage patient medical records and mail submissions to payers and third party entities. The Medical Records Specialist will work with a team in a fast paced environment, so great communication and time management skills are essential for success in this role.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Manage the queue of claims and appeals to be sent to external parties ensuring timely submissions are adhered to
- Gather and ensure all necessary records for requests from agencies according to laws and regulations
- Guarantee all medical records are protected and kept confidential at receptionist area
- Guarantee adherence to HIPAA guidelines and regulations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Outstanding communication and ability to work independently and as a team
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
