Purchaser

Based in: Marysville, Ohio - NOT remote, must be able to commute to office

Job Type: Full-time; 8 am - 5 pm

RUDIS is seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven Purchaser to join our team. The

Purchaser will be responsible for all aspects of assigned product categories for International

and Domestic manufacturing. This includes communication with suppliers and alignment with

internal stakeholders which consider the goals and requirements of the business. The Purchaser will provide support to the business to achieve the ideal balance of quality, delivery, price, andservice. Utilizing structured sourcing processes, the Purchaser assists in sourcing evaluations and data to assist in opportunities for strategic partnerships that enable growth and seamless business continuity.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to communicate directly with the suppliers on lead times, and ex-factory dates

on all orders produced by the suppliers.

• Ability to problem solve and bring solutions to the internal leader to assist in

negotiation and discussions with International and Domestic suppliers.

• Execute on procuring goods accurately and timely to meet delivery needs.
• Confirms best practices with suppliers to ensure quality standards, service, and cost

are being met according to the requirements of Rudis.

• Communication and collaboration with internal departments; sales, production art,

accounting, sourcing, product development, and logistics.

• Ability to accurately enter purchase orders into the NetSuite system and place orders

with suppliers for all finished products and packaging.

• Manage order lifecycle from order inception through to finished goods shipment by

supplier and receipt of goods to the customer.

• Contact suppliers concerning purchases and/or information pertinent to operations

and delivery.

• Advises sales, and management of any changes concerning ex-factory dates and

shipment delays to the customer.

•  Identifies invoice discrepancies and works to resolve them with the collaboration of

the accounting team

• Additional experience in Wholesale and Supply Chain is a plus 
• Responsible for communicating inventory information to internal departments; sales,

and art production.

• Create inbound shipments and update delivery schedules for all incoming retail and

event shipments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with demand planning software is a plus.
