Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) is Hiring a Digital Content Specialist Near Maryland, MD
Location: Washington DC (Hybrid role)This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of Lottery and Gaming (OLG). The incumbent serves as the OLG's social media expert as the internet represents the agency's only resource for 24-hour open access communication program. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Creating and implementing strategies around web communications best practices and tools; coordinating the social media presence for a variety of initiatives
- Leading outreach activities utilizing 2.0 web tactics and programs to further enhance the image of OLG
- Developing web and email public relations and communication strategies for various promotions and campaigns; maintaining and providing content development for OLG social networking sites
- Preparing quarterly reports summarizing the results of social media campaigns and web analytics; and providing advice on new developments in the web communications industry to assist the Chief of Communications.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
