Certified Nursing Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists residents in their activities of daily living tasks as needed and directed.
• Responds to resident needs promptly, while maintaining each resident’s self-respect, dignity, safety and confidentiality.
• Documents actions by completing forms, logs, and reports. 
• Uses universal precautions and follows established policies and procedures.
• Maintains a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourages teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in training and educational opportunities.
