USA Debusk is Hiring an Operations Manager (FT) Near Martinez, CA
- Dispatches personnel and equipment to jobs using most cost-effective manner.
- Communicated regularly with customers to ensure job priorities are being followed, quality is acceptable and resolve any conflicts, immediately notifying the branch manager of any issues.
- Ensures all crews are leaving the shop with all equipment, arriving at job site when scheduled, and reschedule same crew for following day to maintain progress.
- Cultivate an inclusive, diverse, and highly effective team culture.
- Help ensure that the disciplinary actions are administered in a fair manner.
- Work with operations to write up job procedures.
- Effectively manage relationships with customers and vendors.
- Assist in equipment and vehicle preventative maintenance.
- Adhere to and train all personnel to ensure OSHA safety and company policy and procedures.
- Helps plan and execute branch safety meetings, conduct monthly safety audits.
- Regulates all hours to personnel to distribute hours equally and fairly.
- Manage the inventory, orders, PPE, equipment, and chemicals to make ready when needed.
- Support fieldwork and supervise shop during peak periods.
- Track loaned equipment and personnel.
- Performs on call duty as needed per rotation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Some college education with combined work experience acceptable, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in supervisory role in similar industry
- Interpersonal communication, written and oral skills.
- Strong active listening skills, strategic thinking, and sound decision-making skills
- Professional presentation, organizational skills
- Strong leadership and coaching skills
- Computer Microsoft, Excel, Word, and Outlook skills required.
- Wear all the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, extended work hours associated with overnight and extended travel.
- Must be willing to work in industrial environments and adverse weather conditions.
- Ability to lift, move and handle up to 50lb hoses.
- Ability to walk, stand, climb, and sit for extended periods of time at any given time.
