Crossroads Continuum is Hiring a SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST (SLP) Near Marlborough, MA

Position Overview

Full Time: Monday-Friday

Salary: Starting at $72,000 or more dependent on experience.

SIGN ON BONUS:

  • $4,000 over a 12 month period
    • $2,000- at 6 months of employment
    • $2,000- at 12 months of employment

Job Summary:

As a Speech-Language Pathologist at Crossroads Continuum, you'll play a vital role in our mission to enhance the lives of individuals with autism. Your responsibilities will include conducting speech assessments for new students, collaborating with various stakeholders to develop and implement speech programming, and supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs). You'll also program and implement augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems, provide training to staff on AAC usage, and ensure the safety and supervision of assigned students. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech assessments for new students and collaborate with staff, consultants, school districts, and families.
  • Develop and implement speech and language goals, objectives, and service delivery plans.
  • Review Progress Reports for students quarterly and program AAC systems as needed.
  • Train staff on the proper use of AAC systems and supervise SLPAs in their responsibilities.
  • Maintain proper credentials and documentation, including daily session notes and attendance records.
  • Assist students with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and ensure their safety and supervision.
  • Participate in field trips, community outings, and swimming activities as needed.
  • Serve as a team leader and positive role model for staff and students.
  • Adhere to Crossroads Employee Handbook and participate in periodic trainings.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Massachusetts licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Knowledge and experience with ABA-based treatment of autism.
  • Experience with programming and implementation of AAC systems.
