Job Description

We are seeking someone with experience of operating heavy equipment, specifically an excavator and end loader. This position also may require operating a quad-axle dump truck, so having a Class B Commercial Driver License (CDL) is preferred. Trained operators are expected to operate equipment in a safe manner. Basic mechanical skills are required for basic heavy mobile equipment maintenance.

3rd Shift 8:30pm-4:30pm Sunday - Thursday

• General Labor as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Be able to be "On-Call" once a month for weekend work.

Position Responsibilities

• Quad-axle dump truck operation.
• Ability to safely and efficiently operate an excavator and end loader.
• Perform periodical safety, maintenance or servicing checks to ensure proper functioning of the equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Operator must be in good general health.
• Operator must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 50lbs.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Have and maintain a safe driving record.
• Valid Class B CDL (preferred).
• Must have basic mechanical skills.
• Ability to work as a team.
• Must understand and comply with mining safety and environmental regulations.
• Be able to work and communicate with fellow employees, drivers and contractors.
• Must understand the areas of ISO 9001: 2015 that are required to perform this job.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
