Description:

A Maintenance Technician, or Maintenance Mechanic, will maintain all power industrial equipment along with basic facility maintenance (plumbing, heating, and wiring, rack repairs, building inspections).

Key Responsibilities:

· Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues

· Ability to read and interpret schematics

· Ability to read and understand service manuals

· Maintain repairs on all power industrial equipment

· Basic facilities maintenance

· Basic maintenance on truck fleet (oil changes/minor repairs)

· Basic Welding

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED plus one to two years mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic experience
• 1 year of experience in a warehouse setting
• Friendly and upbeat personality
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
• Ability to lift up to 150 pounds
• Proficient reading, writing and comprehension of the English language
• Forklift certification (will certify in warehouse upon hire)

Communication:

· Requires verbal and written communication

· Requires face to face discussions with individuals or teams

· Requires frequent contact with others (face to face, telephone or otherwise)

Body Positioning:

· Requires sitting and standing, lifting, and moving for long periods of time.
