SummaryJoin our family of professionals at Marion Skilled Nursing Facility Located 1.5 miles from Marion General Hospital on Barks Road West in Marion, OH, we provide individualized post-hospital skilled nursing care in a comfortable environment.As the Director of Admissions you will manage the facility’s inquiry and admission process and provide customers with facility-related information via facility tours, personal visits/assessments, conversations and follow-up. You will make regular visits to referral sources to develop and maintain good business relationships and ensure appropriate admission papers and signatures are obtained from residents or responsible parties prior to admission.Education/Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Communications or related field preferred.Two (2) years equivalent experience in a sales/marketing or admissions position in lieu of degreePrevious health care community relations experience preferredEffective presentation skills preferredStrong organizational skillsKnowledge of, or ability to learn, reimbursement program from payer sourcesAbility to communicate professionally and effectively both orally and in written formExcellent computer skillsWorking knowledge of Federal and state regulations and reimbursement (Managed Care, Medicare and Medicaid).Why Legacy Health Services?Healthcare is a calling and being part of a family owned and operated company that will invest in YOU will turn that calling into a career.
