We are seeking Registered Nurses (RN) to join our team on a per diem/PRN basis. As an RN, you will provide direct patient care and assist in the coordination of patient care delivery within a healthcare facility.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oasis Assessment
  • Assessing and documenting the patient's condition, including vital signs, symptoms, and medical history
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider
  • Monitoring and evaluating patient responses to medications and treatments, and adjusting care plans as necessary
  • Assisting physicians and healthcare providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments
  • Educating patients and their families on health management, disease prevention, and treatment options
  • Supervising and delegating tasks to licensed practical nurses (LPN) and certified nursing assistants (CNA) as applicable
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes
  • Adhering to professional standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

  • Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Florida
  • Minimum of one year of nursing experience in Home Health.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems (kinnser/Wellsky)
  • Basic computer skills
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; additional certifications may be required depending on the specific unit or specialty area
