Job Description:
Role: Construction Project Manager – Commercial Electrical
Location: Marietta, GA(3 days office and 2 days remote)
Job Type: Full-Time
We are looking for a Project Manager that has commercial electrical experience, you will oversee all aspects of the construction projects from the beginning to end, making sure the project is completed on time and on budget.
Responsibilities:
· Verify pre-con work (plans, layouts, submittals, etc.) to meet project requirements and contract scope.
· Design a plan of action along with the superintendent to target key milestone dates and identify the manpower need type: underground, conduit, low voltage, trim out, etc.
· Monitor and control daily activities by working with superintendent:
· Develop a plan of action with superintendent to tackle down activities needed to fulfill the schedule.
· Upload weekly plan of action onto the server and review at the end of the week to ensure all activities proposed were completed.
· Filling out daily progress report.
· Receive and file daily logs from foreman/superintendent on a daily basis and ensure it has all data required to complete the daily progress report.
· Collect timesheets on a daily basis and fill out staffing services hourly forms.
· Keep constant communication with GC to get written information on other trades work status.
· Change orders and estimating process for plans revisions.
· Material and labor projections based on current spending vs job progress vs forecast.
· Purchasing of weekly material orders coming from the field.
· Value Engineer the drawing sets with subject matter experts to meet minimum code requirements and find saving on the contracts scope.
· Manage staffing’ SOVs, customer’s SOVs and OOS invoices.
· Identify the need and initiate the hiring process for the project staff along with Subject Matter Experts.
· Training and customer support (to project labor) on company software.
· Be able to attend contractors' meetings acting as the main liaison between TEP and the GC being able to take and perform monetary decisions on site with proper written documentation.
· Work with project superintendent on collecting and recording as builts for a final product delivery.
· Be the first line of communication with the General Contractor in order to remove obstacles and keep production flowing.
· Manage the project material cycle counts and compare with BOMs, take offs, project completion status, and estimates.
· Verify quantities on material request form provided by the field, code properly and send to purchasing department for final execution.
· Coordinate with superintendent delivery date and location for materials.
Education:
· 3 years’ work experience as a Construction Project Manager in commercial construction and electrical Industry

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
