Overview:
Butterfly Therapy LLC is a family-run business, and we have four center locations. We are looking for Occupational Therapist Assistant candidates in the South Florida Palm Beach County area to work with our clients in our Delray Beach clinic.
We are looking for an individual who enjoys working in a clinical setting and works well with a team. This individual should be passionate about their work, show up on time, and be diligent throughout the work day. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to provide therapy services for kids. The position is part time to start, eventually it will full time.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist
- Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises and activities
- Monitor and document patient progress and report findings to the Occupational Therapist
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercises
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Skills:

- Good reasoning skills, consistency, and dedication.
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques used in occupational therapy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (Mandatory)
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
