Need Construction estimating: 3 years (Required)
We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in take offs, construction management, project management, and cost control to accurately estimate project costs.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze project specifications and drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates
- Utilize software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam for precise estimations
- Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers for competitive pricing
- Develop detailed proposals outlining project scope, timeline, and costs
- Collaborate with the construction team to ensure accurate budgeting and scheduling
- Monitor project progress to identify potential cost overruns and implement corrective actions
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in construction estimating and project management
- Proficiency in construction software tools like HeavyBid and Bluebeam
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to interpret contracts, pricing, and technical drawings
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related field is preferred.
