About The Role: Processes customer orders by filling: drums, pails, jugs, totes and tankers to proper filling marks. (NOTE: drums, pails, jugs, totes are filled by volume, tankers are filled by weight) Packages, shrink-wraps and bands product on skids, attaches labels and shipping paperwork to the packaged product and loads trucks for shipping.
Key responsibilitiesFills customer orders as directed by production lead
- Make sure all orders are filled and the correct packaging and labeling are used
- Maintain proper fill weights and/or volumes at all times
- Monitors HACCP CCP’s (filter checks) and completes documentation completely and accurately.
- Performs computer tasks by entering production and usage into our SAP system.
- Recommends packaging equipment upgrades, modifications, and/or replacements
- Performs weekly warehouse product, materials and tank farm physical inventories and assists with inventory reconciliation
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to kneel, bend, squat, stoop, carry, reach, stand, grip, push, pull, arm extensions and perform elevated work.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to work overtime and use a flexible schedule.
- PFT & respirator fit test required
- Working at heights / climbing ladders
