Judit is seeking an X-Ray Tech for our client, an urgent care facility in Manhattan (78th and 3rd). Accepting applicants now and actively interviewing to fill an immediate opening working Monday/Friday/Saturday 8:00am-6:00pm:

Duties
- Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures on patients as ordered by physicians
- Operate X-ray equipment and ensure proper positioning of patients for accurate imaging
- Evaluate images for quality and clarity, ensuring that all necessary anatomical structures are visible
- Prepare and maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and imaging results
- Follow established protocols and safety measures to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care
- Assist radiologists and physicians in performing specialized procedures such as CT scans

Requirements
- Valid certification as an X-ray Technician
- Proficiency in operating X-ray equipment and performing diagnostic evaluations
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and equipment, including CT scans
- Ability to maintain aseptic technique and adhere to infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
- Flexibility to work in various healthcare settings, including emergency rooms (ER)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Shift:

- Monday and Friday, 10-12 hour shifts

- Saturday 9am-5pm

- FTE and more shifts possible, position expected to grow for the right individual.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
