Acme Global Industries is Hiring a Production Associate Near Manhattan, KS
Thread in Aggieville is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a creative and fast-paced environment, assisting with various aspects of the production process to ensure the timely and high-quality completion of custom apparel orders.
Key Responsibilities:
Setting up Screen Print Jobs: Assist in the preparation and setup of screen printing jobs, including selecting screens, mixing inks, and preparing the printing area for production.
Tearing Down and Cleaning: Responsible for the teardown and cleaning of screen printing equipment and work areas after each job to maintain cleanliness and efficiency.
DTG Production: Operate Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing equipment to produce custom garments according to customer specifications, ensuring accurate color matching and print quality.
Embroidery Machine Operation: Proficiently operate embroidery machines to embroider designs onto garments, following design specifications and quality standards.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, order customization, and providing recommendations on design and product options.
Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet our standards of excellence, addressing any issues promptly and efficiently.
Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining inventory levels of materials and supplies needed for production, notifying management when replenishment is required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in a similar role within the apparel industry. Experience preferred, but we will train the right candidate!
- Familiarity with screen printing processes and equipment setup is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in operating DTG printing equipment and embroidery machines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and quality control.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends or evenings as needed.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $10.00 - $12.00/hour.
