Inventory/Clerical Assistant
Malvern, AR
Pay: $14.25/hour
Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday
Job Description:
As an Inventory/Clerical Assistant in Malvern, AR, you will play a vital role in supporting the production department by managing inventory, performing data entry tasks, and assisting with various clerical duties. This position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word to efficiently carry out responsibilities and contribute to the smooth operation of our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels.
Assist with data entry tasks, including updating inventory databases and production records.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate processing of inventory transactions.
Perform clerical duties such as filing, organizing documents, and responding to inquiries.
Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word, to create reports, spreadsheets, and other documents as needed.
Support production department with administrative tasks to optimize workflow and productivity.
Follow established procedures and guidelines to maintain inventory accuracy and uphold quality standards.
Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to address any inventory-related issues or concerns.
Requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
Previous experience in inventory management or clerical roles is preferred but not required.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and stakeholders.
