ARCO Protection Systems Inc is Hiring a Fire Alarm Technician Near Mahwah, NJ

  • Service of Fire Alarm - Notifier / Fike
  • Must be able to verify alarm system functionality by testing equipment, connections and signals; identify and correct any and all problems.
  • Maintain accurate records by documenting hours and any materials used. Needs to be able to communicate any problems encountered or identified with the alarm system.
  • Take turns in rotation for on-call.
  • Willing to update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
  • Preferred 1 year experience/knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems
  • Troubleshooting low voltage systems and in depth knowledge of low voltage electronics is a must.
  • Must have and know how to use basic low voltage troubleshooting equipment i.e. voltage/amp meter, toner, buttset.
  • Good customer service skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must read and speak English. Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, technical training preferred. Complies with applicable safety, environment, health and waste management policies and procedures.
  • Out of town travel will be required at times
