Job Summary

Elements Connect is looking for a Back-End Engineer to play a pivotal role in the design, development, and deployment of our software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance applications that meet our clients' needs.

Responsibilities

• Software Development: Collaborate with the development team to design and implement software solutions using Python and FastAPI, ensuring code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Microservices Architecture: Design and develop microservices-based applications using FastAPI to create robust and modular systems.
• Containerization: Utilize Docker for containerization to streamline application deployment and ensure consistency across environments.
• Cloud Services: Leverage AWS services (e.g., AWS Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS) to build, deploy, and maintain cloud-based solutions.
• API Development: Create and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring high performance, security, and documentation.
• Database Management: Work with various databases, including SQL and NoSQL, to store and retrieve data efficiently.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, identify opportunities for improvement, and mentor junior team members.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve software defects, performance bottlenecks, and system issues.
• Documentation: Maintain clear and up-to-date technical documentation for developed solutions and processes.

Requirements

• 5 years in backend development.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Python and FastAPI.
• Expertise in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS services and cloud architecture.
• Knowledge of database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and database design.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
