The Department of Health Services (DHS), Central Wisconsin Center (CWC) is recruiting for two Registered Nurse (RN) Lead positions. CWC provides short-term and long-term residential services to assist people living with intellectual disabilities in acquiring the personal skills needed to reach their highest potential. CWC is located at 317 Knutson Drive on the north side of Madison.

Positions will be either full-time pm shift (2:00 pm to 10:30 pm) or full-time am shift (6:00 am to 2:30 pm). We offer a team-oriented atmosphere and a focus on work-life balance. CWC also has a 24/7 fitness center, free parking, and is on the Madison Metro bus route.

As the RN Lead, you will provide direct and indirect nursing care to persons with complex intellectual, physical, behavioral and developmental disabilities (ID/DD). You will be responsible for:
In this position, you will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to provide a person-centered, active treatment program, including a holistic approach to health care across the lifespan and provides direct nursing care. You will also oversee delegated nursing cares provided by Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Resident Care Technicians (RCTs).
Starting salary* is between $46.72 and $54.39 /hour, based on years of licensure.
All applicants who may be appointed to this position will be required to allow DHS to conduct a background check to determine whether the circumstances of any conviction may be related to the job being filled.
All appointees will be required to receive a TB test, which will be administered by CWC or medical personnel approved by the facility prior to their start date.
DHS does not sponsor work visas for this position, thus, in compliance with federal law, selected candidates will be required to verify eligibility to work in the United States by completing the required I-9 form upon hire.
