Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and selecting qualified candidates to meet our staffing needs. Work Hours - In office 8-5 or 7-4 but responsive to customer needs as we interview/prescreen.
The Recruiter will collaborate closely with account managers to understand the job/position requirements and ensure the recruitment process is efficient and effective. Prefer a second language skill but not required.Key Responsibilities
- Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g., job boards, social media platforms, professional networks) and traditional methods (e.g., referrals, networking events).
- Review resumes and applications to evaluate candidates' qualifications and match them with job requirements.
- Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidates' skills, experience, and fit for the position.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates.
- Manage communication and provide timely feedback to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools to maintain accurate candidate records and track progress.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
- Assist in the creation and posting of job descriptions and advertisements.
- Participate in job fairs, campus recruiting events, and other recruitment activities as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Design and implement overall recruiting strategy
- Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
- Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
- Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etc
- Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media etc
- Screen candidates resumes and job applications
- Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
- Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
- Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated
- Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
- Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team
- Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of employment laws and regulations.
