Excellent full time opportunity available for candidate with 2 - 4 years experience in surgical setting and insurance authorizations at DMC Harper Bariatric Medicine Institute!

High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have knowledge of medical terminology, CPT and ICD-10 codes. Must have strong customer service skills with ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities will include working under the direction of the Physicians and Nurse Practitioners to verify / complete procedure boarding forms, schedule procedures with facilities; send all information to hospitals / facilities; schedule testing as needed, maintain procedure boarding schedule, obtain test results, medical clearances and authorizations and other duties as assigned by Clinic Manager.
