Role Description
This is a full-time, tenure-track role as a Welding Instructor at Madera Community College. As a Welding Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching welding techniques, conducting hands-on demonstrations and training, overseeing student projects, and evaluating student performance. This role requires on-site presence at Madera Community College located on Avenue 12, east of Highway 99 in Madera, CA.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in welding techniques, including GTAW and FCAW
- Experience in curriculum development for welding education
- Welding inspection skills and certification
- Excellent communication and instructional abilities
- Ability to effectively assess and evaluate student performance
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in welding
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Certifications and qualifications in relevant welding processes
