Summary: This position primarily operates the CNC press brake and other machinery used in the Forming department to fulfill high production demands.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Select and set up tooling based on material type and thickness, load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment.
• Knowledge about bend deductions and corrections.
• Provide a high level of attention to detail and focus on given task.
• Provide accurate data while reporting work status within the MRP system.
• Work in a fast paced environment with close attention to detail.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Follow all company rules, safety policies and quality standards.
• Work well with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 2 years experience on Trumpf, Amada or similar CNC press brake/bending machines.
• Solid background working with sheet metal.
• Knowledge of tooling and tool maintenance.
• Proven measurement and mathematical fraction/decimal conversion skills.
• Familiar with protractors, angle measurement devices, calipers and micrometers.
• Ability to distinguish material types including Steel, A36, SSAB, Stainless Steel and other types of metals.
• Ability to meet physical requirements including: a variety of standing and walking throughout the day; repeated twisting at the torso while lifting, pulling material on and off the machine; regular lifting of up to 20 pounds and occasional lifting of 30-40 pounds.

Education/Experience:

· High School Diploma or GED

· AA Degree in technical engineering or Vocational schooling a plus

Pay: $20 - $26 / Hour
