We're looking for creative and hard-working individuals to join our team of cashiers. The successful candidates will be responsible for completing transactions and managing a busy checkout counter during peak hours. The right candidates should be both friendly and organized, capable of handling multiple tasks at once, and able to both work well independently and as a member of a team. The ideal candidate will also have previous experience with retail.

Responsibilities:

• Receive customer payments.
• Process cash, checks, and credit cards.
• Examine all receipts and records to ensure proper charges, markups, and fees are applied to each sale.
• Verify all signatures on checks and authorized credit cards.
• Check for price accuracy.
• Answer customer questions about the store.
• Stock inventory items, such as paper products and cleaning supplies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
