Our client a well known Chemical Manufacturer throughout the great state of Georgia, is seeking a chemical engineer with 1 to 5 years experienced in their Macon, Georgia location. This engineer will develop and implement process strategies, optimize existing processes, and manage resources contributing to the overall value enhancement of operations. In addition, identify and evaluate process technology improvements or new technologies for Industrial operations and work with the business team to implement continuous improvement opportunities via improved process yield, higher throughput, improved operating efficiencies, recognizable cost savings, improved products, and new products. This engineer is expected to play a strong role in the plant's safety performance. The qualified applicant will hold a minimum Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering and 1 to 5 years of chemical engineering experience in an industrial environment. The experience should include hands-on evaluation of the performance of existing and new processes, making recommendations based on these evaluations, and successfully implementing process improvements. Pay for this position is in the $80k - $95k range with excellent health insurance benefits and 401k with up to 7%match!
