Job Overview - Fund Accountant:
Looking to advance your career in finance? Our client is searching for a skilled Fund Accountant to join their expanding team.
Location: Montgomery County, PA
Compensation: $85,000 - $115,000/year
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities as the Fund Accountant:
- Financial Management and Collaboration: Collaborate closely with CFO, Finance, Legal, IR Team members, and other investment professionals/partners within the firm.
- Document Review and Analysis: Review various materials prepared by fund administrator, including capital call notices, distribution notices, waterfall/management fee calculations, PCAPs, and quarterly/annual financial statements.
- Valuation Oversight and Reporting: Review quarterly investment valuations prepared by investment professionals and prepare concise summary materials for the Valuation Committee.
- Regulatory Compliance and Reporting: Work closely with the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) to complete forms and regulatory filings.
- Transaction Settlement and Execution: Ensure the smooth settlement of credit investment transactions.
- Client Communication and Support: Address and respond promptly to requests from Limited Partners (LPs).
Qualifications for Fund Accountant:
- Education: Degree in accounting (CPA or equivalent is required).
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in private equity, credit, and/or venture.
- Technical: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced skills such as pivot tables.
- Skills: Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task, and have strong attention to detail.
