We are seeking a Medical Scribe to join our team and help us create a smooth experience for patients. The ideal candidate will have previous medical experience, preferably in a hospital environment, and would like to expand their knowledge by learning more about medical billing, paperwork and record keeping. The successful candidate will work closely with our medical practitioners, insurance representatives, and patients to ensure that the patient's needs are met and their stay at the office is quick and efficient. Please note: we are seeking individuals who will be ready to work this position for a minimum of 1 year.
Responsibilities:
- Record patient information.
- Interpret health care professionals' orders and relate to the patient's medical records.
- Communicate with other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain medical equipment.
- Assist in sterilization of equipment.
- Assist with administration of medications to patients.
- Provide basic first aid.
