**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a Service Writer to join our team. The Service Writer will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing service orders, and ensuring efficient workflow in an automotive service environment.

**Duties:**

- Greet customers and assist with scheduling service appointments - Write accurate service orders detailing customer concerns and vehicle issues - Communicate service recommendations to customers based on technician assessments - Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of service work - Maintain a clean and organized service writing area - Handle cash transactions and process payments - Utilize upselling techniques to promote additional services

**Experience:**

- Prior experience in automotive service writing or related field - Knowledge of automotive services such as shocks, struts, suspension, alignment, and tire services - Strong sales and customer service skills - Ability to effectively manage service orders and prioritize tasks - Experience in cash handling and processing payments - Familiarity with auto service management software is a plus This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic automotive service environment with room for growth and development. Service Writers GM :

Automotive Service Advisor Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and schedule service appointments
• Document customer's concerns and comments.
• Write service orders and descriptions of problems and repairs
• Translate customers’ repair problems into standard repair terminology
• Explain repairs to customers and review service history
• Test-drive vehicles to confirm service repairs.
• Provide accurate estimates of the cost and time needed for repairs.

Service Advisor Qualifications

• Service advisor/writer experience is required
• GM Service Advisor experience a plus
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Professional appearance and attitude required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $59,090.00 - $73,232.00 per year
