FPC of Wake Forest has been engaged to locate a Value Stream Manager for a great client. Our client is a precision engineering, manufacturing, and machining company focused on the design and manufacturing of mission critical components for the energy, defense, and heave industrial industries.

This role has career runway to Plant Management!!!

So, what will you be doing as Value Stream Manager?

-Develop and implement manufacturing strategies with a focus on Safety, Quality, Efficiency, and Cost

-Direct and develop a team focused on the execution of manufacturing strategy

-Organize and direct workflow through work centers

-Work cross-functionally to develop process improvement, standardization, and contingency plans

-understand and comply with QMS/ISO 9001 standard

What you will need to be successful:

-BS in Engineering, Operations, or another applicable field

-7 years of experience in manufacturing operations

-5 years of experience in manufacturing leadership

-Strong understanding of Lean principals

-Fundamental understanding of production cost structure (shop rates)

Also considered a plus:

-MBA or MS

-Prior experience in Plant Management

-Experience in a machining or fabrication environment

-Six Sigma Certification

-Prior experience with Profit and Loss statements
