Forklift Operator
Northbridge, MA Salary : Hourly Application Deadline : N / A Manufacturing Riverdale is seeking individuals looking to build their careers as we continue to build our business.
Our wire mesh products, 3,500 in all, are essential products used in the marine, utilities, telecommunications, defense, agriculture, transportation, energy, water, and wastewater industries.
We are our located in Northbridge just 15 mins from Northern RI and 15 mins from Worcester and offering a $700 Hiring Bonus.
You will be required to work on the day shift for one week training.
Full Time - 3rd shift :
11 : 00 p.m. 7 : 15 a.m.
Forklift Operator's Duties & Responsibilities :
- Goal : To ensure that material and products will always be at the right place to achieve maximum efficiency
- Performs all duties required for shipping and receiving materials
- Ensures inventory transactions and material receipts are done in an accurate, timely manner
- Places stock into inventory locations in a timely manner
- Delivers raw materials and shop supplies to production areas as required
- Organizes warehouse as instructed
- Complies with all existing safety and material handling policies and procedures
Forklift Operator's Education & Experience :
- High school diploma or GED required
- Requires at least 2 years of applicable work experience
- Prior experience using RF scanners.
- Must pass forklift operator training (test will be given upon interviewing)
- Requires basic reading, writing and math skills; must be able to read a tape measure
- Must have computer skills, excellent attention to detail, and great organizational skills
